Interview for WP Kultura: My Musical Journey and “Godowsky: Timeless”

A new extensive interview with me has just been published on WP Kultura. I discuss the early days of my musical path, the importance of making classical music accessible to everyone, and my latest album “Godowsky: Timeless” with Kenny Broberg.

The article was published on WP Kultura, the cultural section of Wirtualna Polska (WP.PL), which is one of the largest and most popular internet portals in Poland.

In the interview, I had the opportunity to reflect on the very beginnings of my adventure with the violin. Coming from a musical family, my parents knew exactly how demanding this profession is, and initially, they didn’t want me to follow in their footsteps. Fortunately, that changed, and today they are my greatest support.

We also touched upon an issue that is very close to my heart: the accessibility of classical music. I strongly believe that as artists and producers, it is our duty to break down barriers. Many people feel intimidated by classical music, and it is our role to make it approachable and welcoming for everyone.

Finally, I shared some insights about my new album, “Godowsky: Timeless”, recorded with the wonderful pianist Kenny Broberg. We were searching for a repertoire that was original and undiscovered. Leopold Godowsky’s music deserves so much more recognition—it is a beautiful, timeless blend of old Vienna, Chopin-esque finesse, and both Polish and American inspirations.
