I am incredibly honored that our album, “Godowsky: Timeless,” has been officially named the “Album of the Week” on their popular morning show, Poranek Dwójki. In the article, the editors beautifully highlight the fascinating contrast in Leopold Godowsky’s compositions. While his piano transcriptions are famous for setting an almost impossibly high level of technical difficulty, his works for violin and piano—which is quite fitting, considering he started his own musical education on the violin!—lean towards a serene, lyrical aesthetic, reminiscent of Fritz Kreisler’s salon style.
The publication also warmly summarizes my musical journey, from my hometown of Legnica all the way to performing at Carnegie Hall at the age of 15. It also introduces my fantastic duo partner, Kenny Broberg, highlighting his achievements, including his Silver Medal at the 2017 Van Cliburn Competition. As a wonderful bonus, listeners of the morning show have the chance to win a copy of our CD throughout the week!
